Korra Obidi stirs reactions as she uses straw to sip soup : ‘jokes’ about Ghana fufu (video)
Nigerian singer and dancer, Korra Obidi has sparked controversy online for sipping soup with a straw while eating fufu in Ghana.
The mother of two who travelled to the West African country stated this in an Instagram post on Wednesday, December 28.
She shared a video of herself in a restaurant eating the Ghanaian delicacy with light soup.
In the video, Korra is seen using a straw to sip the stew which she called a ‘stream’.
Captioning her post, she wrote:
“Normally Ghana fufu no dey stink. This light soup na stream. E need straw.”
While some social media users thought the statement was an insult to Ghanaians, others said she was just being playful, and some agreed that the soup truly needed a straw.
